Colleen is from Long Island, New York and moved to Houston in 2011. She knows sign language and has a great appreciation for the deaf community since both of her parents are deaf. She has lived in a few cities before moving to Houston but has come to love living in the South and Texas life!

Colleen obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at St. Joseph’s College in New York. She went on to pursue a Masters Degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014, Colleen’s bedside nursing career spanned 10 years working primarily in adult critical care at various hospitals throughout the country. She chose family medicine because she wanted to develop a lasting relationship with her patients. Caring for patients over their lifetime by helping them optimize their health, manage their chronic conditions and educate them to achieve their health goals.

Outside of the office, Colleen enjoys time with her husband and their family and friends. Hobbies include: cooking, watching sports, running and traveling to new places near and far.
